Kerikeri is a vibrant, bustling town of about 8,000 people located in the beautiful Bay of Islands in northern New Zealand approximately 45 minutes by plane or 3 1/2 hours by car north of Auckland.

There are five schools in or close to Kerikeri, three primary schools and one high school. There is also a private school which caters for children from 5 to 16.


Riverview


Riverview Primary School has, as its main focus, the total development of the children who attend.  Riverview Primary School aims to provide programmes that suit individual children at all stages of development, and to provide them all with levels of work that will meet their individual needs in a variety of ways. Kerikeri Primary


Kerikeri Primary School is a Decile 7 school with approximately 600 pupils. The school has a wide range of socio-economic groups. 66% of our students are identified as NZ European, 28% Maori, 3% are other Europeans and the remaining 3% identify themselves as Chinese, Indian or other ethnicities. The school has an excellent Board of Trustees and a strong PTA.

Kerikeri Primary believes in the promotion of life long learning by developing knowledge and skills; and fostering innovative and creative thinking.

Springbank


Springbank is a private school and pre school catering for children from ages 3 to 16 years. Springbank School provides active learning in a nurturing and stimulating environment, with enthusiastic teachers who value individual and group learning.

Kerikeri High School


Kerikeri High School is a Year 7 to 13, Decile 7, state secondary school in Kerikeri, Northland, with approximately 1400 students and 150 staff. Kerikeri High School has a spacious campus with modern facilities and is located close to the centre of Kerikeri. Kerikeri High School has high standards and a proven track record of academic achievement.

Kerikeri Christian Community School


This school is a satellite campus of Kaikohe Christian School located at 119 Hone Heke Rd, Kerikeri. Ph: (09) 407 7898 + Fax: (09) 407 7898  

This is a very small school opened in 1979, which is governed by the Kerikeri Christian Community School B.O.T. It is a Non-Denominational church school which is private and independent.
