Kerikeri Business - Helping Business Grow

NEWSLETTER - NOVEMBER 2009 PDF Print E-mail

Dear Members,

Our Exciting New Website

Everything's on course to go live on 1st December with a whole host of new features to help your business..... and to help visitors, investors and people moving to Kerikeri.

You certainly don't need to be on any other websites, but it's important you get ready to give us all your details so that you're correctly listed on ours. You will have your own page and it's also important to link your own website, if you have one, to your KKDBA web page.

Ours is a comprehensive site full of useful information and new features.
You'll have the ability to list:

•             Situations vacant to recruit staff
•             Businesses for sale
•             Commercial properties
•             Special offers and promotions

Bear in mind you will be seen by everyone who visits our KKDBA website, not just by our members of course.  Don't forget, our website is targeted at visitors, investors and people moving to the area.

Pre-Christmas  Business After 5 function

Our final function for the year.
To be held at Curry King.  Flier attached.  Pls let me know if you are attending.
Prospective members welcome.

Information Centre

Kerikeri needs a good Information Centre.  As we are not able to get funding from the Council for a proper I-Site, we intend to up-grade the Information Centre at Pete's Pioneer Museum to a Blue-I and are looking for volunteers to staff it.
Full training and support will be given.  If you know anyone who would enjoy this
type of interaction with visitors to Kerikeri, who has some time to spare, and who
has some knowledge about Kerikeri, please ask them to phone me.

Visit from I-Site Staff - BOI Famil

Destination Northland has organised a Bay of Islands Famil for front line staff from key
Informtion and i-Site Visitor Centres based in and around Auckland, Rodney and Whangarei.
Currently only 1 in 5 international visitors to NZ spend time in Northland, so targetting and
training these key influencers is vitally important.  They will spend 5 hours in Kerikeri and
we are organising an exciting and busy itinerary for them.
