The raison d’etre for the KKDBA is simple:

In a nutshell: “To support and promote Kerikeri businesses, working in tandem with the local community, to ensure a prosperous future for the whole of Kerikeri”.

To that end, the KKDBA’s main objective is to maintain and grow Kerikeri’s image as a quality destination to shop in, move to and invest in. Kerikeri’s main attractions are, undoubtedly, it’s boutique-style stores, historical origins, comfortable “village feel” of the town and picturesque setting in the lovely Bay of Islands.

The KKDBA also promotes issues directly with Council and have regular meetings with Councillors to improve the way of life for both Business and Community.

We are an active group and welcome local people becoming involved, not only with business matters, but also local issues that affect their lives. After all, the commercial life and local community of the town are inextricably linked and their well-being and quality of life are also linked to the same degree.
